Safeguarding at St. Dunstan's

We are committed as a church family to the safeguarding of all children, young people and adults when they are vulnerable.  We aim to establish a safe and caring community, that provides a caring environment for us all where these is a culture of 'informed vigilance' as to the dangers of abuse. All volunteers involved in church-based activities are required to undertake safeguarding training, that needs to be refreshed every 3 years.

We comply with the Safeguarding Policy statement of the Church of England and follow the procedures and guidance contained within the Canterbury Diocesan Safeguarding Guidelines in respect of DBS disclosure checks, risk assessments and all other safeguarding practice and procedures.
